In Julius Caesar he comes to Rome with the ambition to rule as a monarch. Cassius and Brutus, republican generals, hear eager cries for Caesar's rule. They get jealous of Caesars rule. The next day Portia, the wife of Brutus, and Calpurina awakes to their nightmare of Caesars death. And on that same day Caesar went to the senate and was stabbed to death. Brutus then learns that his wife has committed suicide. Cassius then kills him-self and so does Brutus.
