I just started the book The Son Of Neptune. So far Percy Jackson just woke up in the the middle of no where he lost his memory an dis fighting gorgons. Gorgons are the exact same thing as Medusa but they cant turn people to stone. That was Medusa's curse. So far I have noticed that Percy has no memory of anything that has happened to him.
First of he doesn't know when his birthday. What kind of person doesn't know his birthday. Reyna, somewhat the leader, questions him "you're what, sixteen." He replies "I think so." This is one reason why I believe he has no memory of anything that has happened to him.
The second thing is he feels he met Reyna but he is not completely sure about. He remembers "her black and glossy as volcanic rock." But decides to say "we have met." What I would like to know is how come he doesn't remember this stuff I know i would.
Lastly because he wants to see Annebeth. He does remember what she looks like. Lupa a wolf told him that when he sees her he will get his memory back. He is eager to see Annebeth but must attend camp for demigods.
This is why I believe Percy Jackson has no memory of anything that has happened to him.
